Family members of the victims of Dr. Ewen Cameron’s notorious “Montreal Experiments” and their supporters held a rally outside of the Montreal courthouse on June 8th as part of an ongoing effort to gain recognition and an apology for these experiments. Dr. Cameron’s experiments, which were conducted on hundreds of unwitting subjects at the Allan Memorial Institute in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, were revealed in 1977 to have been partially funded by the CIA as part of its MK ULTRA program. The June 8th rally was also intended to raise awareness of an ongoing class-action lawsuit initiated in 2019 by the victims and their families in cooperation with Consumer Law Group.
