CUTV is hiring a Station Manager:
Core responsibilities:
- Seek out and support partnerships with other community organizations
- Managing day-to-day operations, including station inventory and supplies, safety and security, and space allocation/utilization
- Support production of alternative programming for those underserved by the corporate media
- Assist the administration of CUTV with various bookkeeping and human resource tasks as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with Media Production and Equipment
- Familiar with the Concordia University community
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
Additional Assets:
- Concordia Student or Alumni
- Bookkeeping/admin experience
- Event coordination experience
Remuneration:
- $21 per hour
- 10 hours per week until August 27th then increasing to 30 hours per week
- Applicable for CUTV’s generous health insurance plan after 3 month probation
- One year contract with option to renew
- 2 weeks of vacation per year and 2 weeks off in December
